We prefer PDF or JPEG files. However, you can also upload TIFF, Illustrator (AI), and Photoshop (PSD)
files.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept PNG, Pages (Mac), Publisher, SVG, WEB, HTML, or GIF files.
All artwork must be supplied in CMYK. If your artwork is in a different format, such as RGB, it will
automatically convert at the proofing stage, which can alter the colors of your artwork.
The maximum file size we can accept is 200 MB in total.
For small format jobs like flyers and business cards, we recommend a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. For
large format jobs such as posters and roller banners, the minimum resolution should be 150 dpi. For PVC
banners, we recommend a resolution between 75 and 150 dpi.
The red line marks the safety area. We make the final cut 3mm outside of this at the blue cut line
shown on your proof. Ensure all important text and images are inside the red line to avoid being cut
off.
When you upload your artwork, our proofing tool will review it for issues like resolution and color
settings. If your artwork is in RGB, our tool will detect a color issue and notify you. If you are
satisfied with the converted color, you can approve your artwork. However, we advise double-checking
this.
If you're not satisfied with your proofs, do not approve them. Contact our studio team, explain the
issue, and we will assist you.
We believe in precision, so we manually check all artwork. Automated systems can miss small details,
but our manual checks ensure meticulous review, catching even the smallest errors and ensuring the
highest quality print output.
Yes. Election materials must legally include an imprint with the name and address of the printer, the
promoter of the material, and any person on whose behalf the material is published. For more
information, visit the Electoral Commissioner's website.
Our address for imprints is: Route 1 Print, Unit 1 Brookfields Park, Manvers Way, Manvers, Rotherham,
South Yorkshire, S63 5DR. Alternatively, you can use your own details if you have an in-house print
facility.
We may add a white border to the artwork due to a bleed or safety issue, often because the text is too
close to the trim edge. The studio team cannot extend the bleed for you in such cases.
This depends on the files and the order. Our studio team will need to review this for you.
For text, we recommend no smaller than 8pt on standard-sized products.
All of our templates are available online. If you can't find what you're looking for, please contact
